The water seems to be finding its lowest point i.e bottom left of footwell nearest the drivers seat, carpet elsewhere by pedals, bonnet release seems dry. The carpet was sodden in the front and back near side, so i dried it out as much. Get in the car/hatch area with a good torch, get helper to run a stream of water over suspect areas such as the boot edges, working up from the bottom to the top in stages, rear doors, sunroof if fitted and check.
